Why can’t I make a reservation on OpenTable for more than 4 guests?
Our restaurant is cozy - we have limited numbers of tables, therefor we can only accommodate larger parties when we coordinate specific table arrangements - so we ask that you give us a call, so our staff can properly accommodate your request! An automatic gratuity of 20% will be added to parties of 8+.
Specific seating requests?
When making reservations on OpenTable, you will be shown the accurate and current seating options available to you. Notating a seating request on your reservation does not guarantee that request - if you have a specific need, please give us a call! We offer the following seating options:
Counter seats - these are our coveted historical counter stools at the historic Friendship 9 lunch counter.
Standard - these are our lower dining tables, some of which have a half booth and chairs.
Hightop - these are our bar-height tables with backed stools for seating.
Do you allow outside desserts?
Yes, of course! There is a $20 outside dessert fee per item.
Do you have a corkage fee?
Yes, of course! The corkage fee is $20 per bottle.
Do you allow children?
Yes, of course! Please include your children in your total guest count. Just let our staff know when making a reservation if you need a high chair or booster seat.
Where do we park?
There is limited street parking available along Main Street, or there are two large lots behind our building, with entrances along White Street.

Do you offer catering?
YES! We offer full-service catering, event planning, and consulting services! We also offer on-site events at our venue, The Gathering Space, located just at the end of the hallway from Kounter!
